A Transformational Breath session is composed of five important segments:
Customization: Each session is customized for your particular needs. If you are new to TB, this customization is based on a confidential questionnaire that you will complete upon arrival , supplemented by a brief discussion with your facilitator. It Includes the art of Breath Analysis that correlates with your personal issues in life. If you are already in our Breath For Life Program, the customization is based upon your evolving needs as they have developed during and after earlier sessions. Before the session you will be kindly invited to bring to your awareness your positive Intention for this particular session/moment of life.
Understanding: For your initial session, your TB facilitator will provide a brief overview of the TB Technique. You will then be invited into the session, and asked to lie down on a special matt, fully clothed in a relaxed savasana position.
Breathwork: Your breath session begins with a guided relaxation to prepare the body and mind for breathwork. Then, assisted by your facilitator, you will participate in a progressive series of breathing practices that will address your individual needs . Your facilitator will work on your energy field during the beathwork session using a special Body Mapping technique and a Sound Healing technique.
Stillness & Meditation:
Following the breathwork segment, you will proceed to the final element of your session, “Stillness & Meditation.” We end all breathwork sessions with a time of “stillness.” This part of the session is very important, because it gives both your body and mind the opportunity to adjust to the biological and energetic changes that have occurred as a result of the breathwork. As your breath practice matures, this segment ay evolve into a formal meditation segment.
Note: experience will be unique and different in every breathing session, depending on your needs

There is an intelligence or an innate wisdom within our Natural Breath. The Natural Breath is a delicately sensitive barometer that monitors our physical, emotional, and mental environments. It not only reflects our physical, emotional and mental states, but also responds to them by adopting specific modes of breathing to meet the intricate needs of both the body and mind. Over time, habitual patterns of restricted breathing begin to interfere with the sensitivity of the Natural Breath and its ability to respond to our ever-changing inner and outer environments. These restricted breathing patterns eventually block or limit the adaptability of the innate intelligence of the Breath. Although still present, it now exists in a quiescent state.
When we begin to cultivate an awareness of our breath, many of us notice that we are unable to breathe fully, and that our breathing is labored or erratic. Most of these tensions in the breath grow out of habitual patterns of restricted breathing caused by chronic stress and suppressed or repressed emotions. These restricted breathing patterns not only create energetic disturbances within the human energy system, but also inhibit the adaptability of the innate intelligence of the breath, deeply affecting the intricate balance of the mind/body/spirit continuum. Interference in the functioning of the breath’s innate intelligence, ultimately undermines physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
We begin with developing a peaceful relationship with the breath as it is, resisting the urge to judge or alter it in any way. Emphasis is on cultivating a yogic “witnessing presence” of the breath. This simple yet powerful approach begins the process of unraveling tensions in the breath. We then progress to a sequence of rhythmic breathing practices designed to develop a relationship of receptivity with the breath and opening to its natural movements. It is about learning how to relax and let go of any effort ,how to allow the wave of breath to happen naturally ,going with the breath instead of trying to control it. It is not about mastering a breath technique; rather it is about creating an environment of awareness that awakens the transformative healing power of the breath and allowing it to open. In addition to “presence” and “allowing” this environment includes cultivating a sense of our own unique breath rhythm, which arouses the breath’s intelligence from its suspended state. We then encourage the Innate Breath to unfold its full potential for healing and personal transformation by deepening our practice of Transformational Breathing and activating the Breath.
